A long long time ago, when I worked in an office, Jenn & I were coworkers! It was fun to hear about her boyfriend at the time and I was even more thrilled when she told me she was getting married and asked me to photograph her engagement session. I was back in one of my favorite spots in Orange County to shoot their engagement session. Congrats on your recent marriage! I wish you and Chris much happiness & love!!!

Cole and Bianca contacted me to shoot their Orange County engagement session + wedding! They specifically asked to have a very fun, not too lovey dovey engagement session. They were actually saving their first real kiss for their wedding day, which I witness & photographed and it went flawlessly!!!!! I love the vibe of this session and I think it really fit their personalities perfectly!

Yes…they climbed up this giant orange tree….! I was praying they wouldn’t fall off!

The spot where they had their DTR (define the relationship for those who don’t know what it means) 🙂 So cute!

Can’t wait to blog their beautiful wedding soon!

I always get so excited when I get to revisit old clients!  What’s even more amazing is that I’m often able to walk with them through many of the most joyous moments in their lives!  I love that about what I do!  Back in 2008 when I was barely getting started and toying around with photography I got to shoot some images for their wedding.  You can see those humble images here.

Jen emailed me with great news and asked me to shoot their maternity session!  Since the session I can say she gave birth to a adorable baby girl who is growing and thriving!

Awhile back I was hired to photograph a 1st birthday in Orange County.  In Korean it’s called a Dol.  The first birthday is a huge celebration in the Korean culture.  I think it’s because a long time ago many of the babies didn’t live to see their first birthday so making it to this milestone was a big deal!

Emma’s dol was so much fun to photograph!  We did a quick family session first and then the celebration began!

Emma’s mom made so many of the details herself!

During the Dol celebration they have a doljabi. The parents will place certain items in front of the baby and let them choose. This will supposedly show what their future career will be 🙂 Emma went straight for the ball! Who knows she might become the next Kim Yuna!

I was beyond thrilled when Angela + Sam hired me to shoot their wedding!  There’s something so special when your own friends trust you with one of the most memorial events in their lives.  I’ve known them since my freshman year at UCI and can’t be more happy for them!

They flew me out and we had a great time frolicking around San Juan Capistrano and Crystal Cove with them!  We had a minor glitch when we found out we weren’t allowed to shoot inside the mission at San Juan Capistrano without a permit, but we still had an amazing time walking around and getting some awesome shots!  I even tried a date shake at the Shake Shack in Crystal Cove.  Who would’ve thought a shake made out of dates could actually taste good!  I cannot wait until November for your big day!

Probably one of my favs from the day!

Indeed, life is beautiful!

I promise, I don’t force my clients to jump…they always ask me for this pic!  I think everyone practices because I know I can’t jump this high!
